Olsson’s first lick block was produced in 1949 in a shed just west of Parramatta. It was the first pressed salt block produced in Australia to contain a range of minerals and was the forerunner of all multi-nutrient blocks produced in Australia.

Since then we’ve teamed up with several leading ruminant nutritionists and academics to produce high quality and effective livestock supplementation. We design and manufacture blocks to combat a range of conditions, from calcium deficiency to grass tetany to fluoroacetate toxicity, and much more.

Olsson’s is 100% Australian family owned and our products are manufactured entirely in Australia using sea salt and minerals from the Great Barrier Reef and the Eyre Peninsula.
